ASIC永久禁止悉尼金融顾问Tram Tran提供金融服务 并取消其AFS牌照
澳大利亚证券及投资委员会(ASIC)日前永久禁止金融顾问Tram Tran提供金融服务，并取消了她的澳大利亚金融服务(AFS)牌照。
ASIC先前就一宗涉嫌挪用客户的自我管理型养老基金(SMSF)的事件展开调查，Tran女士随后被ASIC施以禁令。Tran女士据其AFS牌照担任金融顾问和授权代表。
ASIC发现，Tran女士的客户的资金在没有得到他们授权的情况下被从他们的SMSF账户中取出，存入了Orchard Accountants Pty Ltd的信托账户。Tran女士是该公司的唯一董事和股东。
ASIC还发现Tran女士：
·未能合作及协助澳洲金融申诉局(AFCA，前身Financial Ombudsman Service)回应客户的投诉并就不当使用款项作出解释
·未能及时回复ASIC的出示证据通知(notice to produce)
·向ASIC提供虚假和误导性信息
在对Tran女士施以禁令后，ASIC还取消了Tran女士的AFS牌照。
ASIC还协助了新南威尔士州警方对Tran女士进行调查。
