ITALIA TERUS MENERUSKAN PAJAK AIR TURUN PADA BANK
Menurut laporan akhir pekan, pajak rejeki nomplok pada bank-bank Italia, yang telah diperlunak sejak penerapannya pada bulan Agustus, akan secara efektif dicabut. Daripada membayar pungutan, yang seharusnya berjumlah 40% dari keuntungan ekstra antara tahun 2021 dan 2023, bank dapat menghindarinya sepenuhnya dengan mengalokasikan 2,5x jumlah pajak untuk memperkuat rasio Tier 1.
Pajak tersebut memicu perselisihan dalam pemerintahan koalisi dan menuai kritik dari ECB, yang menunjukkan kemunduran signifikan bagi pemerintahan Giorgia Meloni.
