Euro membukukan kenaikan yang kuat terhadap Yen Jepang (JPY) pada hari Rabu, di tengah peningkatan selera risiko dan sikap dovish yang diadopsi oleh Bank of Japan (BoJ) meskipun terjadi kenaikan suku bunga. Pada saat penulisan, EUR/JPY diperdagangkan di 164,25, naik 0,67%.
