Inflasi di Jerman, yang diukur dengan perubahan Indeks Harga Konsumen (CPI), tetap tidak berubah sebesar 2,2% pada basis tahunan di bulan April, Destatis Jerman melaporkan pada hari Senin. Angka ini berada di bawah ekspektasi pasar sebesar 2,3%. Secara bulanan, CPI naik 0,5% menyusul kenaikan 0,4% yang tercatat di bulan Maret.
Indeks Harmonisasi Harga Konsumen (HICP), ukuran inflasi pilihan Bank Sentral Eropa (ECB), naik 0,6% pada basis bulanan sesuai perkiraan. HICP tahunan meningkat 2,4% pada periode yang sama, naik dari 2,3% pada bulan Maret
