在外汇市场中什么是滚转利率?
在现货外汇市场中,所有的交易都必须固定2个工作日.滚转指平掉今天的开仓并在同一位置,在反映两种货币不同利率的价格处开下一天的仓位.
根据国际银行惯例,外汇经纪商在5 PM EST自动滚转所有的仓位到下一工作日.
滚转包括在固定日期内到期时所持有的仓位变化. 例如,在周一执行的交易, 起息日是周三.
然而,如果在周一开仓并持单过夜,现在起息日是周二. 例外的情况是在周三建仓并持单过夜.通常的起息日应是周六;因为银行在周六关闭,起息日自然是在接下的周一.由于周末, 在周三持仓过夜的单子产生或赚取额外的两天利率.
由于假日导致的起息交易也会获得额外的利率.外汇交易者可以在滚转中赚取利率,根据他们的仓位方向和两种货币之间的不同利率.
例如, 英国的基本利率比日本高很多,因此如果交易者买进GBP, 他/她将在5 PM EST时间获得利率.两一方面,如果他/她卖出GBP,他/她将在5 PM EST时间支付利息.
过夜利率/滚转在以较高利率买进货币时自动支付给客户的账户,而如果国家发行的货币比基本利率低则收取客户账户利息.
