① 当地时间5月3日，据美国当地媒体报道，根据国防部预算分析人士预测，受新冠肺炎疫情影响，美国财政赤字将激增，国防部开支或遭削减；
② 此前，国防部在第三轮刺激法案中获资105亿美元，用于《国防生产法》及其他抗疫相关的军事部署。国防部称，将在下一轮刺激法案中继续申请“数十亿”美元资金，但众议院军事委员会主席亚当·史密斯表示，他不支持国防部的申请，认为国防部应更好地分配使用其现有的7380亿美元预算；
③ 此前，根据美国国会预算办公室预计，数万亿美元刺激法案或使美国联邦政府赤字翻两番，达到3.7万亿美元，这将是美国历史上最大赤字。
