英国央行维持利率不变
英国央行在最新的政策声明中谨慎地没有支持近期降息的想法。我们认为，英国央行希望在看到 4 月和 5 月的通胀数据后再采取任何行动，并将 6 月作为首次降息的最早日期。不过，我们仍坚持在 8 月份首次降息的观点。
有消息称，英国央行的两位鹰派人物目前已选择维持利率不变，并提出了即使小幅下调政策利率也能保持政策限制性的新方案，英镑利率因此下跌，货币遭到抛售。收益率曲线看涨变陡通常会对货币产生负面影响，今天英镑也不例外。
随着未来几个月英国央行开始宽松周期的理由逐渐成立，我们预计欧元/英镑将开始小幅走高，0.8500 的主要支撑位将被巩固为中期底部。不过，未来几个月美元走低的主旋律应意味着英镑/美元可以保持相对较高的买入价。但我们的预测认为，英镑/美元在未来 12 到 18 个月内的交易价格不会大幅超过 1.30。
